Based heavily off cave art, this painting is an exclusive for Live Oak International 2026 in Ocala FL. The canvas itself was repurposed; the priming, base coat and stretching were initially started in a barn in Micanopy FL. The original painting, which measured 6’x6’, sat for a number of years before being unstretched and used as three different oil paintings for LOI.
Some damage did occur to the canvas and paint over the years, thus giving the finished pieces an aged appeal. This piece - from the priming to the framing and stretching - was done entirely by the artist’s hands.
